I slipped this little secret out today on a blogger’s site and figured I would post it on our blog to be fair. We buy a lot of ads for our managed accounts each month and there is an ordered process we follow, which is searching for similar themed sites and preferred partners. We’ve experienced a huge growth in partners the past couple of months and it helps if our staff is familiar with your site. “How can this be done” you ask?
In summary, here are a few things you can do to catch the eye’s of advertisers (and our staff)
- Upgrade your listing to be “Featured” and stand out from the rest.
- Make sure your pricing is competitive to others in your niche.
- Make sure your site is fresh with content and readers.
- Help create a buzz about LinkWorth on your site.

Great points to make. I recently mentioned LinkWorth in an article about monetizing websites and blogs, as I think its a great way for people to make money
Good tip. I have followed these steps. If you can sell some links for my blog sites I would appreciate it:
Thanks
Hi
I just signed up a few weeks ago, waiting for my first assignments. This is a really useful blog and I took on board the ideas you have for improving my blog.
Not so sure creating a buzz about Linkworth is always so easy on a commercial site, but I would imagine that on many blogs it`s easy enough to add some comments.
Ok, you asked for it….!
Write a post to promote Linkworth? That shouldn’t be too hard. How about starting an affiliate program when we refer friends to join the publishers’ network (when they are approved, of course)
Doris,
We do have an affiliate program!
Login to your account and look for the “Affiliate Info” menu option.
We provide code in JavaScript, however, you can locate your id by looking for (a=XXXX). You can use that a=NUMB and add it on to the end of linkworth.com. So your simple aff link would appear something like this:
http://www.linkworth.com/?a=XXXX
OH… sorry for my ignorance… I’m going to start using the affiliate code
btw, I got my first link post - thanks!!
I went to the affiliate info but honestly, I can only find the code for referring new advertisers but not publishers… is that what you mean?
Doris, our affiliate program currently is only paying for advertisers sent.
We are working on making it reward for new partners referred too, but only advertisers at the moment.
Once the new program is in place, the same affiliate link will work for both type of referrals, so there is no need to need a separate code.
