For those of you who don’t know me, I would like to more formally introduce myself. My name is Scarlett Tarjick, and I have been with Linkworth for over a year now. I have just recently been promoted to the “PR Coordinator” here-quite exciting and yet at the same time challenging.
In the last month, I have been commenting on lots of blogs trying to get our name out there…anything to stir a little attention back our way. Nevertheless, after talking to Ron last week, he gave me a great idea. Let’s have a contest!
We have tons of publishers like yourself that are using our LinkPost service. This is where the contest idea comes in. We are thinking of setting up a contest where whoever writes the best blog posts about LinkWorth and our services will win some prizes. Yes, I said prizes! What I mean is that we do not want to have just a 1st,2nd and 3rd prize winner-3 winners. Depending on how many people sign up, we might do something like rewarding the top 10-15 people. I know that the top blog post will be getting a Mercedes and a lunch date with Ron.
Not really…I know you were looking forward to the lunch date. : )
Anyways, give me your ideas fellow LinkWorthers. What kind of prizes would it take for you to write a dang good linkpost about LinkWorth and a thorough description of our services?

Scarlett,
Congrats on the new position and I look forward to the challenge of creating some great content around the value of Linkworth. An iPhone or iPod would be great for some of the top prizes. Also you may want to consider giving away some advertiser credits so that we can promote our sites back through LinkWorth. Just some thoughts.
Um, money?
Hi Scarlett, great blog post. I guess in order to make room for this car and lunch with me, I’m going to have to let some people go.
No, just to make sure the point goes through, Scarlett was joking about the car and lunch date! Although I wouldn’t mind hanging out with all of you. I’m in NYC right now, anyone want to meet us at Faces & Names tonight at 6pm?
I just need to get my blog up — and i will write a butt-ton of posts about LW. I use every product from the partner/advertiser side. And i love them all.
I need no prize for this.
But i suppose for all those money-hungry bloggers out there, free lunch or a benz would do the trick.
Or an account credit to be used toward purchasing advertising on my websites.
MegaD
Jeff..great idea. I was actually considering ipod shuffles. Those always seem to go over very well. I am also contemplating visa gift cards so people can do whatever they want with the money.
Electronics, LW credit, flight & accommodations to come visit the LW offices…
hookers & beer!
It depends who do you want to attract for this contest. If you offer iPod shuffle to blogger who already have iPod (80GB), I don’t think they will be interested. So the prize should be something that everybody would want to win!
You can’t go wrong with monetary prizes, but the question is how much?
Got an iPod. Money always fits.
And congrats on the new position, Scarlett! I’ve already seen that the company’s PR is in great hands. Now, when is Linkworth going to acknowledge your involvement by adding a dash of red to the corporate colors?
I’ll do it for free… but if you insist on prizes, money is always good. Amazon gift certificates are great, too.
Cash. And ad credits. And cash. And a digital camera. Sign me up!
