FINALLY! Big applause for Juancho for abandoning the search in a box and building our own personalized lwbot. As of right now, all websites that have opted into LinkInTxt, allowing us to crawl your site, have been indexed. We are fine tuning mr. lwbot as he crawls along, but we’ve gathered a couple hundred thousand keywords and still going. If you are interested in including your site, login to your account and go to MY PRODUCTS > LINKINTXT > CRAWL MY SITES then pick the sites you want to be included along with a standard price. We’ll pull the keywords on your site and make them available in our database.
Advertisers, jump in while you can. Buy keywords from similar site content. Get targeted traffic through these links and help build link popularity. Login and go to MY PRODUCTS > LINKINTXT > SEARCH/PURCHASE.

Awesome! Congrats on finally getting it done… this should be huge!
how long does it take to have my site crawled and indexed?
Ron, (it always feels weird addressing “Ron” when my name is “Ron” … It’s like I’m talking to myself)
We index sites on a 7 day cycle. We keep bandwidth as low as possible and only grab and cache what is necessary. With that being said, if you have a site with 20k pages, it will take a lot of visits before we’re able to supply advertisers all of the keywords you have available.
But now that we have this thing humming along, the new feature add-ons are coming faster than the keywords themselves!
Who’s this? Tim who?
Yes Tim, we finally have it running exactly how we wanted it to. It’s a monster of a project still, but yes, as “TINY e” would say to his friends… “Man that sucker’s Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!”
My favorite part is that every time I do a keyword search I see new results. Our advertisers are going to love this! I think the Partners will, too….what a great way to sell unobtrusive ads.
yeee haw! LWLT2.1 .. rock on.
I love it. For partners, this is just EASY money.
For advertisers, this is just EASY linking.
i love LW.
have i told you lately that i love you?
MegaD
Ron the Wicko - I am seeing the LinkInTxt but I can’t seem to find the way to filter out from some of my sponsored posts. And errm..I also cannot find (ok I am lazy to read fine prints) if LW plays well with other link in text, like the one starts with K? Right now, I have both.
Can you address this issue so I can share with my readers who are all dying for a piece of LW?
Yep, I need to be able to filter out some of the posts for companies who don’t allow other links within their sponsored posts, too.
lilian - filtering of things is our job…so no worries. We’ve already noticed our spider is indexing terms that exist on advertisements and we’re already adding tweaks to our lwbot to stop including them. There will definitely be some learning steps as we build our little lwbot into someone as smart as his buddy running around called googlebot!
Just like they’re always making changes, we’ll always have to make changes as well. Just make the right decision. If someone tries to buy a keyword from you and it only appears in the description of another LinkWorth advertiser, decline the offer or maybe try to find it in another page.
To your other question about our program working with other programs…LinkWorth will NEVER try to tell our customers that you cannot use other programs. It is your site and you should be able to make money as many ways as possible. As you know, we have our own product like Kontera, which I’m assuming you are referring to, so I know how they work. Static links will always take precedence over the Kontera links. So lets say right now you have a keyword called “DESK” that is currently double underlined and Kontera is using it to show ads. Our lwbot will still consider that a potential keyword because the link is dynamic and appears to our lwbot as normal text. If it’s a high converting keyword for you with Kontera, I would make sure you take the biggest money maker and use what avenue works best for you. If you decide to sell the word “DESK” and get a monthly payment, then when Kontera goes back and reads the text, it will not count that word any longer because it will already be linked.
Hope this helped! PS. We’re about to install tutorials for all products. We have the written parts I still need to proof, but we’ll get those up that will help your readers and then we’ll start working on video tutorials.
