A station that we listen to will occasionally have a segment where a hypothetical is thrown out. They’ll peak your imagination, creativity and will throw in a little fun to your day. We’ll start out making it a weekly thing and since today is Wednesday, we will call it “Hypothetical Wednesday’s”.
Our first hypothetical will be quick and easy just to get everyone in the swing of things:
You wake up tomorrow and you are sitting in a time machine. Before you can get out of it, you have to either travel to a date and destination in the past or a date and destination in the future. Which would you choose, where would your destination take you and why?

Ouch! I can’t decide!!! I’d probably go to the past myself…
Past, oh yea, in the mid 90’s. I’d max out every credit card and buy every type in domain I could find
I would go to the future. I like history and all, but I would rather see what is going to happen.
1st stop: Sept. 30, 2020. Why? I want to see if I’m going to reach 50 and what my life will be like then and make sure my kids are going down the right path. I dread what might happen, so it will be nice to either sleep well for the next 12 years or plan to do things differently.
2nd stop: I would go to Jan. 1, 3000. Why? Obviously to see everything Google has come up with between now and then so I can come back and be almost a 100 years ahead of my time building the coolest ideas before they ever get to.
Heeyyyyy Bearemy! That’s a good idea too. Particularly yahoo.com, google.com… to name a couple.
I think I’d be more interested in going backwards because too far in the future could be REAL depressing. Like, you enter “Jan. 1, 3000″ and the machine returns a 404 error…
now today is thurday, and after 2days I could have another weekend…expecting…
Easy. I would definitely go back in time. There are a few things I did in college that could use un-doing
I would travel in the future to see when Google either backs off on the paid link ban, or stops giving any value to links, thus causing the transformation of the paid link companies into just more web advertising companies.
I’m not sure how far in the future that would be….?
“Like, you enter “Jan. 1, 3000” and the machine returns a 404 error…”
That’s too funny!!!
And yes, during my trip to the past, I’d buy tons of domain names - including a little one named, “google.com”
I’d go back to the last date that I weighed 110 lbs and slap the heck out of myself the instant I reached for a cookie.
